The Greco-Roman calendar begins again today, this Shabbat. It often pretends to be the emphasis for starting over, new beginnings. People swear off the old and swear on the new  - things that they have always known they should have been doing anyway. I suppose it is as good a time to give up sin as any. God calls us to Himself every day, every moment. Therefore if you decide today is a good day for a change, then don’t let the pagan calendar stop you from being immediately obedient.

BIG change is in the air at Olam. For example:

1.       Tonight is our last regular weekly service.

2.       We are moving from standard weekly services to monthly deep worship services in the future.

3.       We are becoming a Lighthouse Cluster Group (to understand what that means, come tonight to Olam or tomorrow at 2:30PM to the Lighthouse).

4.       We are going to have future worship services only on the last Shabbat of each month.

5.       These services will be Olam Evenings of Worship starting at 7 PM at Family Foundations.

6.       Our next service after tonight will be on Friday evening, January 29^th.

If you have been longing for a worship evening, please put tonight and January 29^th into your plans. Bring your heart with its passion, your voice with its praise and your feet with their dancing shoes and let’s worship our Great God and King. Plan on staying as long as you are led.

Olam meets in Family Foundations facilities at 5935 South Zang Street, Littleton, CO 80127 (3 blocks east of C-470 on Bowles). We start at 7 PM tonight, Friday evening.
